About Project
I redesigned United States currency with the theme of major rivers in the country. Each bill represents an important river in the US and highlights the river's unique importance to the daily lives of Americans. Additionally, it also showcases an important location along the river. I incorporated several security features, such as a see-through outline of the river's shape (replicating water), a textured, more detailed map of the river, textured rock beds along the edge of the bill, and the outline of a fish that appears when the bill is held up to the light. The color differentiation of the bills makes them more easily identifiable at a glance, while the tactile features enhance accessibility for individuals who are visually impaired.
